Dr. Honeycutt has served as Business Dean at the University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff, Dean of the College of Business and Technology of Argosy University Atlanta, Distinguished Fellow in Business Management at Shorter University, Vice Chairman of Edgenics, Inc. and Senior Partner of the Center for Collaborative Learning and Coaching. Hiroshi Tasaka, Ph.D.

Dr. Hiroshi Tasaka serves as Chair of the Anaheim University Executive Advisory Board. Hiroshi Tasaka is a Professor Emeritus of Tama University in Tokyo; the President of the Think Tank SophiaBank; a former Special Advisor to the Japanese Prime Minister (2010-2011); a former member of the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council; and the President of the Club of Budapest Japan. He graduated from the University of Tokyo in 1981 with a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering. In 1987, he worked at the Battelle Memorial Institute and also at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratories in the United States. In 1990, he established The Japan Research Institute. Holding a bachelor's degree, three master's degrees, and a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado, University of California at Berkeley and University of Wisconsin respectively, Dr. Hartley has had a variety of jobs from administrative manager of the R&D division of a Fortune 500 company to the executive training program of Ford Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan, in addition to owning and operating an art gallery. David R. Bracey

David Bracey has worked with Anaheim University since 1996. Mr. Bracey serves as an administrator in the university's head offices in Anaheim, California and is currently heading up a pilot program related to the development of a leading-edge international online career management program. He spent 18 years living in Japan and representing the university in Asia. Katya Shtrachman is the Director of Student Services and Admissions at Anaheim University. In this role, she oversees the school’s various student services tasks from admissions through completion. Dr. Hayo Reinders is Chair of Research and TESOL Professor for the Anaheim University Graduate School of Education. Holding a Ph.D. in Language Teaching and Learning from the University of Auckland, Dr. Reinders is also Professor of Education and Head of Department at Unitec in Auckland, New Zealand. His previous positions include Head of Learner Development at Middlesex University in London, Director of the English Language Self Access Centre at the University of Auckland in New Zealand and associate professor at RELC in Singapore. He has worked with teachers from a large number of countries worldwide and has been visiting professor in Japan, Thailand, Mexico and the Netherlands. Dr. Reinders edits the journal 'Innovation in Language Learning and Teaching' as well as a book series on ‘New Language Learning and Teaching Environments’ for Palgrave Macmillan. He is Editor of Innovation in Language Learning and Teaching, and Convenor of the AILA Research Network for CALL and the Learner. Dr. Reinders' interests are in technology in education, learner autonomy, and out-of-class learning, and he is a speaker on these subjects for the Royal Society of New Zealand. His most recent books are on teacher autonomy, teaching methodologies, and second language acquisition.

Raphael Raphael, Ph.D.

Raphael Raphael (Ph.D., University of Oregon; MFA, Plymouth University; Master's, Teachers College, Columbia University) is a film and media scholar who also lectures at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. His work frequently looks at making connections between genre, culture and disability. His most recent book, Transnational Horror Cinema: Bodies of Excess and the Global Grotesque (2017), with Sophia Siddique, looks at intersections of the horror genre, disability and trauma across borders. Other writing includes Transnational Stardom: International Celebrity in Film and Popular Culture (2013) with Russell Meeuf and contributions to the Encyclopedia of American Disability History. He currently serves as Associate Editor of Creative Works and Multimedia for the Review of Disability Studies. Raphael's work on pedagogy also includes writing on teaching film and disability studies in Modern Language Association's Teaching Film (2012) and social media learning in Let's Get Social: The Educator's Guide to Edmodo, with Ginger Carlson (2015). He has coordinated and directed educational technology programs with institutions in Asia, Europe and the United States. His scholarship in film, technology and media is also informed by his own practice as transmedia artist, and he has exhibited his work, including augmented reality and found footage installations as well as short films, in the United States and Europe. Dr. Garnet E. Birch had over forty years’ experience in higher education in multiethnic and multicultural settings. He also had vast experience in both traditional and non-traditional, adult and continuing education. Holding a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Arizona and an MA in Asian Studies and History from the University of Hawaii, Dr. Birch was the former Vice-Chancellor of National University’s Los Angeles campus and Dean of Curriculum and Standards at the San Diego Campus. Following his work with National University, he went on to become the Director of the Los Angeles Center of United States International University. Dr. Birch was the founding Vice-President and third President of Anaheim University before becoming Chancellor.

Dr. Clive L. Grafton brought over 40 years of experience in higher education administration and consulting to Anaheim University. Dr. Grafton began his career with the United States Air Force in 1950 and was an Associate Dean of the School of Education and Chair of the Department of Higher and Postsecondary Education at the University of Southern California (USC) where he also received his Doctorate in Education and Master of Science Degree in Management. In addition to his 23 years at USC, Dr. Grafton was Vice-Provost at Chapman University as well as an advisor to the Organizing Committee of the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Dr. Grafton served as Anaheim University’s founding Chancellor, second President, and the Chair of the University’s Board of Advisors.
