Seoul Residential From Thursday Oct. 13 to Sunday Oct. 16, 2011 Anaheim University, in collaboration with Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (CUFS) held a 4-day Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) residential session in Seoul, Korea. Students and faculty from around the world gathered for 4-days on the campus of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) as they discuss topics related to current issues and research methods in TESOL. A TESOL Seminar open to the public entitled "Standard language / Language Standards" was held on Thursday, Oct. 13th from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

Seoul Residential On October 7, 2011 83-year old BodyGlove Founder Bob Meistrell and his wife Pat visited Anaheim University Press for the university's fourth video interview with the diving and surfing legend. The interview focused on entrepreneurship and was held one day before the couple's 61st wedding anniversary.

Seoul Residential On September 29 and 30th, Anaheim University President Dr. William Hartley welcomed Dongduk Women's University President Dr. Young Rae Kim and DWU School of Humanities Dean Dr. Inseok Kim to Orange County, California to discuss collaboration between AU and DWU's Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) programs. The two Presidents signed a Memorandum of Understanding and agreed to work towards a final agreement that would lead towards DWU students studying in AU's online TESOL programs as well as attend short residential sessions in California. DWU reciprocated the visit by welcoming AU Managing Director of Development David Bracey to the DWU campus in Seoul, South Korea on October 14, 2011. Dongduk Women's University is one of Korea's top-ranked institutions of higher learning and one of the oldest women's universities in South Korea.
