Caryn Callahan, Ph.D.

Senior Professor

Holding a Ph.D. in East Asian Languages in Civilizations with a specialization in Japan from Harvard University, and an MBA specializing in Finance-Accounting from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Dr. Caryn Callahan is a former Vice President and International Equity Analyst for Merrill Lynch Japan as well as Financial Analyst for W.R. Grace & Co.. A professor of Anaheim University's Akio Morita School of Business, Dr. Callahan has also taught courses in Corporate Finance, International Business, Organizational Behavior, and Management at Chaminade University in Hawaii. Dr. Callahan was chosen as number one analyst for the Japanese consumer electronics industry by Euromoney magazine and has been quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Business Week, and Fortune magazine.

Dr. Rawlins holds a B.A. from the University of California, and an M.B.A. from California State University at Chico. In 1983, she earned a Ph.D. from Arizona State University with major areas in management, business communication, and industrial engineering. A Professor Emeritus at California State University at Chico, she was most recently Graduate Program Coordinator.

Dr. William McPherson earned his Ph.D. in Business and Marketing Education from New York University, as well as his MA in Administration & Supervision and BA in Marketing from Montclair State University. In addition to teaching at Anaheim University, Dr. McPherson has taught business and technology courses at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Central Connecticut State University, Saint Peters College, and The Chubb Institute. As a consultant, Dr. McPherson has applied his expertise to Educational Testing Services (ETS), the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), Proteus Scientific and Bozell McAdams, and his academic works have appeared in numerous business education journals.

In 1993, Dr. Little earned a Ph.D. from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, with a major in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior. Her dissertation, "Effectiveness, Performance and Motivation in a Team-Based Environment," marked her early interest in leadership and in teams. She also holds an MBA from Louisiana Tech University, an M.Ed. from Clemson University, and a B.S. from Jacksonville State University.

Professor Steve Landry's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the US Military Academy at West Point, as well as MBA and PhD degrees from the University of Colorado. Dr. Landry holds the following US accounting and financial certifications: CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), CFM (Certified Financial Manager), and CFP® (Certified Financial Planner™). Prior to academia, Dr. Landry worked in production and financial management for Procter & Gamble (P&G), Hewlett-Packard, and Ford Motor Company. In addition to teaching Managerial Accounting in the Anaheim University Akio Morita School of Business MBA program, Dr. Landry has 20 years university-level teaching experience, primarily at the MBA level, at institutions such as the Fisher Graduate School of International Business at the Monterey Institute of International Studies, the Naval Postgraduate School, the University of Alaska, Hong Kong Baptist University, the University of Hawaii, and the University of Colorado. With respect to research and consulting, Dr. Landry focuses primarily on financial management information systems development with the goal of assisting organizations in implementing strategic plans in order to achieve desired goals.
